Seven Seas BUNCO
The Seven Seas BUNCO notebook by Watanabe Bookbinding in Tokyo is described as "a notebook born for a fountain pen". It follows the design of the popular CROSSFIELD range, in a smaller format. Using Tomoe River paper, a superior and lightweight paper which is strong and durable, reduces ink bleeding, yet is very thin, it is ideal for people who use a variety of ink pens and still want to carry a portable notebook that doesn't bleed.

---------------------
Now in its third generation, Watanabe Bookbinding was established after WWII in 1946 when the first generation Yoshikichi Watanabe, who had worked in the bookbindery industry since a young age, was supported to open a business by a customer. The company flourished and to this day some of the original tools and equipment used at the time is still in use. Watanabe Bookbinding specialises in the daily production of academic books, museum catalogues and premium notebooks, all of which require a high degree of precision in bookbinding.
