R 250.00

Antique Laid Croquis sketchbook by MARUMAN. 55 sheets of 60g/㎡ MARUMAN antique laid paper, with a cover made of durable black carton and white wire spiral binding. Ideal for use with charcoal, pencil, ink, reed pen and watercolour.

Dimensions: 292mm x 206mm

MARUMAN was established in 1920 and is known for its high quality stationary and paper products, with such legendary names as Hayao Miyazaki using the company's products. The Antique Laid Croquis sketchbooks reproduce the look and feel of pre-mechanical laid paper, which was used before woven mesh paper became popular in the late 18th century. The paper when back-lit shows the traditional chain lines associated with laid paper. MARUMAN has developed its own set of paper specifications - nine for drawing paper and four for writing paper, by which it maintains manufacturing quality.
