The original Japanese quality mandoline for slicing fruit and vegatables. The regular size has three different blade types for cutting slices, julienne strips or batons. It can be adjusted according to the desired tickness, with a 6.4cm slicing width. The thickness can be adjusted to between 0.3mm and 8mm. It comes with a finger guard

Benriner Co. Ltd is based in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. The first version of the benriner vegetable slicer was invented in 1940 by the company founder, Uyuki Yamamoto. Over the years, many design improvements have been made and today "benriner" has become synonomous with a Japanese style mandoline.
