Sandalwood Incense

Incense sticks made from sandalwood. Incense making is designated as an official traditional craft in Tochigi prefecture, stretching back to 1864. Sandalwood incense is an auspicious and traditional Japanese incense and offers a light and natural fragrance for everyday use.

The incense sticks are brown in colour and packaged in a cardboard box containing approximately 60 sticks.

HATTANDO is a specialist incense stick maker, established in Nikko, Tochigi prefecture in 1940. Their traditional incense uses cedarwood and they also make sandalwood incense. Modern ranges are being introduced as the company grows.
