Yumiko Iihoshi designs and oversees the manufacture of porcelain tableware which combines the use of moulds for uniformity, with hand glazing by artisans, to ensure each piece has a sense of individuality. Her ranges exist on the boundary between handmade and conventional porcelain. The elegant lines and unique palettes are designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia, and to inspire people to reflect and reminisce about times gone by.
When travelling through Japan, yumiko iihoshi tableware can be found in homes and restaurants, always in different combinations, always accentuating the food. With showrooms in Tokyo and Osaka, the company also has an international presence in Paris.
