Cedar Incense
Since its founding, Nikkun Shizando has focused on incense made with Japanese cedar leaves, now a rare material in incense making. The company sources high-quality cedar powder, milled in Japan, and processes it using traditional techniques that rely on the skill and judgement of experienced makers.
Cedar has long held a place in Japanese ritual and daily life: as a sacred tree associated with longevity, as a material for sake barrels, and as a calming fragrance used in meditation.
Nikkun Shizando’s cedar incense reflects this tradition. Free from added fragrances or dyes, it carries the straightforward, dry scent of cedar itself.
