Incense Sticks - Kuro Shikobai - Low Smoke

A low-smoke incense for everyday use, first launched by Seijudo (誠寿堂) in 1975 and still made in Hyōgo Prefecture.

With less smoke it is gentler on the eyes and throat and leaves less residue in a room.

The scent is built on sandalwood oil, blended with a range of floral and perfume notes.

To use, light the tip, wave out the flame and stand the stick upright in an incense holder or a bowl of ash or sand. Never leave burning incense unattended.

Seijudo (誠寿堂) is based in Kamikawa, in the Kanzaki district of Hyōgo Prefecture. It began making raw material for incense in 1849 and incense sticks in 1872, and launched Bienkō Kuro Shikobai in 1975.
